| I've been talking in my sleep. |

We're back from tour. It was very *interesting* and it seems a lot shorter than it was. As for what happens now, I hope I can solve my problems.
On another note, my favorite type of person is the one who really wants your attention when they can't have it, I hope everyone can see through this.
My favorite part of tour was probably Nick's exhaustion, and all of the crazy stuff it made him say every time he talked. I also loved the fireflies in Illinois, probably one of the greatest things I've ever seen. We also went to Mt. Rushmore, which was pretty cool. And there was also Mt. Rusmoreland which was the worst tourist trap I've ever seen. If we were in a city for more than 12 hours I felt like I was getting stuck there, it was really weird. Salt Lake City doesn't make any sense, period.
Minneapolis was my favorite city and I think I will be going back there, it felt like a good place. I am probably going to drive to Salt Lake City on my birthday, July 25, to watch Every Time I Die. Nevermind, they will be in Boise the day after, so I will go to Boise. Maybe I will go to both. I really like their style, Nick doesn't like the cd Hot Damn! but I think its very good, and Last Night In Town uses a lot of "hardcore cliches" if you ask me.
The fact that almost everything in my life has changed in the last month is hilarious, I guess it was time.
"Turns out I never had a thought at all. I've been talking in my sleep, reciting teleprompted anthems - a marionette strung tight to the executives upstairs. I almost had myself convinced that I meant everything I said. What a shame. Oh captain, my captain, you've been drinking. What happened? I've been slurring my cadences and blacking out when I stand. I know all about your son, who never did return from the war. But there was poison in that bottle, I tell you. I'm coming out with my hands in the air. This is not my voice. What you are hearing is not me. There's been a horrible mistake. I'm a proud God-fearing registered democrat. This is all the same elaborate scheme and it will be cleared up when the governor beckons for me. He'll clear my name. It appears that the inmates have overrun the asylum. There's a madman at the wheel. We are not even remotely capable of keeping our heads about us. We've abandoned all semblance of presence. Dead bolted, buckled in. Keeping our word to the sinking ship. Let the rats orchestrate the new mutiny. I'll meet you overboard."

The week before touring is always hell. At least I only had to call in sick to work once this time. I'm actually nervous about going away, and the distance we are going. I love our van and I hope she treats us well. So far we spent about $1400 just on the van. Here's the list of places:
June 18 - Walla Walla, WA June 19 - Missoula, MT June 20 - Billings, MT June 21 - Rapid City, SD June 22 - Fargo, ND June 23 - Minneapolis, MN June 24 - Madison, WI June 25 - Milwaukee, WI June 26 - Chicago, IL June 27 - Detroit, MI June 28 - Cedar Falls, IA June 29 - Omaha, NE June 30 - Denver, CO July 1 - Salt Lake City, UT July 2 - Boise, ID July 3 - Spokane, WA

I got the message long before you said you knew There was no chance of us at all With no velocity an empty heading hard and far too long I spent two years alone with you Just when I thought I had forgotten You came back soft without a sound.
You said we were an accident With accidents you’ll never know what could have been So we were an accident You’ll always be my favorite one
You hit the road and left me an ocean I can’t swim in the silence of your skin, skin Please let me in- side the times we never had right Inside two years alone with you
You said we were an accident With accidents you’ll never know what could have been So we were an accident You’ll always be my favorite one
What could have been? What could have been (why can't you believe?)
long winded promises of future company Up close the sound remains the same Without the reign of terror over every momentary change,we are exactly as before.
You hit the road and left me an ocean I can’t swim in the silence of your skin, skin Please let me in- side time I had to forget you Inside no chance of us at all

I love Walla Walla, kids here aren't afraid of SHIT! Last night was the best show we've ever played period. We started off the set with a new song, so nobody knew the words, but Walla Walla sang every single word to every song off our EP, it was a very happy time. Every city should take a lesson from Walla Walla, we played here once and we came back and people knew the words to our songs and were really nice. It was a very fun show to play. Aiden had van problems but ended up making it a little bit before we went on, I plugged the movies Cabin Fever and Gigli. I'm at Carlies right now, she is very very nice to us, she made us breakfast and food last night also. She also likes to give Shane hugs. Paul is obsessed with the fact that some "hot" girl thinks he's cute.
Now onto Aiden, they were awesome and Walla Walla knew their words also. They are going to go on tour with us in June. They were very very nice and fun to watch live, oh yeah their singer came on stage with us for our last song and it was unplanned and cool. I remembered the words to their last song, because they played it when we played with them in portland the night before, so I sung along with them. Thank you Walla Walla and Aiden, best show I've ever played.
Today its onto Bellevue, 4.5 hours and I'm excited to see A Kiss Farewell again, they are very very good also. In Portland they played awesome, I love Song 2 (not the setlist the actual song), I requested that it was played 2 or 3 times tonight. Good work Jeff, you wrote it. If anyone going to the show tonight is reading this, I'll see you in a few hours.

We just spent 12 hours in the studio yesterday and finished two new songs for a demo and to sell for $1 while on tour, along with our old EP. Thanks to Jaime Elliot for starving all yesterday so we could get this done, thanks to my boss for believing that I was sick, thanks to Jessi for bringing me baked confections, thanks to craig for singing good and doing 18 or so vocal tracks, thanks to shane for playing the impossible thing exactly the same 2 times in a row. If I missed anyone... Listen to the songs here:
